Fox Social Enterprise is a new community interest company set in North Leeds. Based within Meanwood Community Centre which is managed by Leeds Community Spaces whose aims are to improve the lives of local residents through community partnerships. Fox Family Hub delivers services through 3 strands:
Strand 1 – Early Years education via Meanwood Valley Preschool which is based within the community centre. We plan to open more Early Years settings in areas of multiple deprivation across Leeds within Leeds Community Spaces buildings.
Strand 2 – Advocacy and support groups for parents and pregnant mothers. We have been short listed in a funding bid to create a SEND Sanctuary which will see intensive support and early intervention work based at Meanwood Community Centre. Healthy Holiday Playscheme will be delivered with a range of community organisations; Stitch-Up, Basic Ballers, Fall into Place, Youth Movement against Violence.
Strand 3 – Training and consultancy. Training the sector to improve services and practice across Leeds.
