Family Hubs: Designing Outcome Frameworks
Over 150 people attended the Family Hubs Network’s Designing Outcome Frameworks webinar, where panellists, representing four local authorities across England, gave presentations and took part in a Q&A discussion, answering attendees questions.
Panellists’ presentations explored the stages of the process involved in creating an outcomes framework:
- ‘Where to start?’, ’local consultation and needs analysis’ – by Karlina Hall, Commissioning Officer, Plymouth City Council
- ‘Deciding strategic outcomes’, ‘identifying the relevant cohort, what to measure and how’, ‘developing the underlying theory of change’ – by Adrian Coggins, Head of Wellbeing and Public Health, Essex County Council, Richard Comerford, Managing Director of Essex Child and Wellbeing Service, and Hayley Hill, Contract and Performance Manager, Virgin Care
- ‘Developing the system and deciding relevant interventions’, ‘determining intervention-level outputs and outcomes’ – by Denise Beevers, Locality Service Manager, Doncaster Council
- ‘Collecting data’ and ‘reporting’ – by Simon Dear, Service Manager – Strategic Development and Commissioning, Isle of Wight County Council, and Rachel Mckernan, Assistant Director of Children’s Services, Barnardo’s, Isle of Wight
