Our 0 to 19 Torbay service works together to promote the health, development and well-being of children, young people and families in the Torbay area. Families will first come into contact with our team antenatally (pre-birth), then progress through early years onto pre-school support. This brings together health visiting and school nursing within our Children’s Centres. They are then supported by our services until the child has reached 19. . Our team has health professionals, family support, child development, substance misuse and advocacy workers, wellbeing practitioners and counsellors for young people.
Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust are working with Action for Children, The Children’s Society and Torbay Council as the new Torbay 0 to 19 Partnership. This will be the first of its kind in the region and possibly the UK.
